PRIVACY & DATA PROTECTION
Information Collection: We collect name and email via Stripe and Formspark for membership administration and club communications.
Third-Party Processing: Payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe. Inquiries are processed via Formspark.
Data Integrity: We do not sell data. Website metrics are monitored for performance, excluding internal administrative views to maintain accuracy.
MEMBERSHIP & PAYMENT TERMS
Annual Commitment: 369 membership is an annual subscription, billed once every 12 months via Stripe.
Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically on the anniversary of your joining date. You will receive a notification via Stripe prior to the renewal date.
Cancellations: You may cancel the automatic renewal at any time via your member portal. Access to club nights and league eligibility remains active until the end of your current 12-month term. No partial refunds are issued for mid-term cancellations.
LIABILITY & VENUE DISCLOSURES
Shared Space: 369 Chess Club operates within third-party social and hospitality venues. The club is not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property occurring within these venues.
Personal Conduct: Members are responsible for their own safety, that of any guests or children they introduce, and the security of their belongings.
Termination: We reserve the right to terminate membership immediately, without refund, if conduct violates our Member's Agreement or causes a breach of our agreement with the venue provider.
COMPETITIVE PLAY (BRISTOL & DISTRICT LEAGUE)
Eligibility: Participation in league matches is contingent upon an active 369 membership and a valid ECF (English Chess Federation) membership.
Selection: Team selection is at the discretion of the Team Captain, based on rating, reliability, and the overall benefit to the standing of The 369 Chess Club and its League performance.
AMENDMENTS
We reserve the right to update these terms to reflect changes in infrastructure or league requirements. Continued use of the club’s facilities and social environment constitutes acceptance of these terms.
